Swearing in of Richard Blohm as New Hoboken Fire Chief

Hoboken, NJ - Monday, July 13th, 2009

Richard C. Blohm was� sworn in as the city’s 9th Fire Chief during a ceremony on Monday, July 13th at City Hall. Blohm had been serving as Acting Chief since 2007.��A Hoboken native, Blohm joined the Hoboken Fire Department in 1977, and was promoted to Deputy Chief in 1992. He has served as a tour commander, Special Operations Officer, Chief of Hazmat Team and Chief of Training. He has also been appointed by the past three New Jersey Governors as a Fire Commissioner for the New Jersey Fire Safety Commission.� You can watch the video, please click here.
