City of Hoboken to Host 16th Annual Arts & Music Festival (& NJ Transit advisory)Tweet

Mayor Dawn Zimmer and the City of Hoboken are proud to host the 16th Annual Hoboken Arts & Music Festival on Sunday, May 2nd from 11am and 6pm. Admission is free.
The fair will take place on Washington Street between Observer Highway and 7th Street and will include over 300 artists, crafters, photographers, local businesses, restaurants, food vendors and more.
Three stages of live music will feature performances by Fountains of Wayne, Freedy Johnston, The Doughboys, Jack Skuller, Verdict, and more. A special Kids Zone on 3rd Street in the Capital One parking lot will include performances, rides, games, face painting and more.
Also, please note the following advisory from New Jersey Transit regarding bus detours for Sunday, May 2nd.
Bus Route Nos. 89 and 126 – Detour in Hoboken

On Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Washington Avenue from 14th Street to Observer Highway will be closed for the Hoboken Spring Arts and Music Festival.� During this time, Bus Route Nos. 89 and 126 in Hoboken will operate on a detour.
- Buses traveling toward Port Authority Bus Terminal will travel on Observer Highway/Washington Avenue, continue on Observer Highway, make a right on Bloomfield Avenue, left on 14th Street, right on Willow Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
- Buses traveling toward Hoboken will travel on 14th Street and Washington Avenue, continue on 14th Street, right on Hudson Street, and then continue to terminal.
