Alternate Side Parking Enforcement To Resume Monday, February 1st

Hoboken, NJ - Wednesday, January 27th, 2016

Enforcement of alternate side parking/street cleaning regulations will resume on Monday, February 1st to allow for crews to plow snow from parking lanes. Currently, snow removal operations are prioritized along snow emergency routes. Additional crews are also clearing snow from around schools, bus stops, and at corners.

Snow removal has currently been completed and parking is permitted on the following snow emergency routes:

  • Washington Street from Observer Highway to 15th Street
  • 4th Street from Washington Street to Clinton Street ONLY (parking is prohibited west of Clinton Street and east of Washington Street)
  • Willow Avenue from 9th Street to 11th Street ONLY (parking is prohibited south of 9th Street)

As snow removal work continues, updates on snow route parking regulations will be posted on the City website, and through the City’s Facebook ( and Twitter ( pages.

Parking remains prohibited on all other snow emergency route segments until snow removal is complete. While snow remains against the curb, vehicles parked on these street segments will narrow the roadway and prevent or delay the passage of emergency vehicles. Vehicles parked on uncleared snow routes remain subject to ticketing and towing.
