Artists’ Studio Tour

stefanie-larry-bijou-08
Artist Stephanie Riggi & sponsor Larry Bijou of Bijou Properties

Sat. & Sun. Nov. 5th & 6th, 2011
Time: Noon to 6 PM

A Free City-Wide
Self-Guided Walking Tour
of Artists’ Studios, Galleries
& Community Group Exhibitions

Featuring the work of
over 200 artists
in over 30 locations

Free Tour Guide with map is available as an insert in the
Oct. 30th issue of the Hoboken Reporter
or can be picked up at City Hall on the days of the tour

City Hall is located at
94 Washington Street, between First & Newark Streets

Just 3 blocks from all public transportation including PATH, NJ trains & buses,
NY Waterway Ferries and Hudson Bergen Lightrail.

Even though there are over 30 locations, the tour is designed so that you can easily walk from studio to studio, gallery to gallery.
And since Hoboken is only a mile square, every site is convenient to the next.

But if you get tired there is a free Art Hop (shuttle bus) that will be stopping at 8 locations, making it easier for you to get around.
The Art Hop will operate from noon to 6pm both days of the tour.
To locate the Art Hop shuttle in route:
1.  Log on to: www.hobokennj.org/thehop and view the purple bus route,
2.  Text “bus arthop” to 41411 or call 201-293-8958.

As diverse as the art itself, the tour’s popularity draws artists far beyond the banks of Hoboken. You will see art in many forms,
representing an exciting variety of mediums. Visitors will have a chance to meet the artists, photographers, sculptors and artisans and witness the creative process at work. Even poets, musicians and performance artists will be on hand to make your day a memorable one.

Special thanks to our sponsors:

and the Monroe Center for the Arts
