Meetings
Hoboken Rent Leveling Board meetings are generally held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room of City Hall (ground floor). The following meeting dates are subject to change as necessary.
Rent Control & Affordable Housing Meetings
These hearings are open to all members of the public and testimonies will be given under oath and will limited to 5 minutes per person. Here are the dates for this year for these Committee meetings
- Sept. 21, 2009 Calculation for rent; administrative process and procedures
- Oct. 5, 2009 CPI Standard and alternative methods to monthly calculations
- Oct. 19, 2009 Requirement of disclosure statement/certificate and filing fees
- Nov. 9, 2009 Statute of limitations
- Dec. 7, 2009 Vacancy decontrol; certification req., timeliness of filing, procedures
- Jan. 11, 2010 Re-establish demand year/base rent and registration requirements
- Jan. 25, 2010 Exemptions; qualifications and approval procedure
