Jim Doyle has lived in Hoboken since 1987, and he has been active in the community since the early 1990’s in various issues centered around ensuring sensible development in the City and increasing the City’s inventory of open space throughout the entire City, with an emphasis on active, recreational uses. As a critic of many of the development deals brokered in the past, Jim intends to advocate for sensible, environmentally sustainable development which is good for the community as a whole.
Jim has served on Hoboken’s Green Team, a community-based advisory group to promote environmentally sustainable policies in the City, and he has also been a leader in the Hoboken Harriers Running Club since 1995, during which time the club has initiated various annual charitable events to raise funds for and awareness of, most notably, the Jubilee Center on Jackson Street.
Jim is an attorney with over twenty-five years of experience practicing environmental law in New York City, both with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Justice.
