The City of Hoboken will be offering several theatrical productions this summer, working in conjunction with local theatre companies of Hudson County. Below is a list of the selections and the theatre companies we are most grateful to be working with. These Outdoor Performances will take place at the Sinatra Park Amphitheater located on Sinatra Drive btw 4th & 5th Streets, unless otherwise noted.

StoryBook Theatre

Where Stories Come to Life Through
Song, Dance, Poetry and Drama!

Tempest Productions is proud to present a series of StoryBook Journeys. Join your favorite storybook characters and become an integral part of the story as we sing, dance, whistle, and hum through the magical world of books in these interactive journeys.

FREE • Elysian Park, 10th & Hudson St. • 2-4pm

Designed for all ages! Pack a picnic and join us in the park
on our summer adventures! Rain or Shine.
In case of Rain location, tents will be set up in the park.

The Circus McGurkus by Dr. Seuss
Be a lion, be an acrobat, be a clown. Help Tempest create our own McGurkus Circus.

Sat. July 14
Something Whistling in the Night – Folktales from Other Lands
All over the world grandmas and grandads, moms and dads, and aunts and uncles too, pass folktales o to their children. Join Tempest as we bring socially picked folktales from other lands to life through story songs, dance drama, poems and music.

Tempest Productions is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) theatre company established in 1996.   The company is dedicated to presenting high quality productions that deal with classical and universal themes at affordable prices.  Tempest has been producing and designing youth programs since 1996.  Its founders and artistic personnel have been working in the field for over 50 years.
