Theatre in the Park

The City of Hoboken will be offering a wide range of theatrical productions this summer, working in conjunction with many of the local theatre companies of Hudson County. Below is a list of the selections and the theatre companies we are most grateful to be working with. These FREE Outdoor Performances will alternate between two of the City’s most beautiful waterfront parks:
- Shipyard Park, located at 13th Street & McFeeley Drive (behind Kings Supermarket)
- Frank Sinatra Park Amphitheater located on Franks Sinatra Drive btw 4th and 5th Streets.

The 1954 film On the Waterfront was directed by Elia Kazan & written by Budd Schulberg. It starred Marlon Brando, Eva Marie Saint, Rod Steiger, Karl Malden & Lee J Cobb., based on a series of articles written by the New York Sun’s, Malcolm Johnson & won eight academy awards including, best picture, best actor & best director.
