The
Zoning Board is a seven member panel of citizens that
was created by the governing body to interpert and construe
land use provisions of the City of Hoboken. The Board makes
decisions on applications for subdivisions and has the power
to grant exceptions. The Board of Adjustment also hears any
applications of denials of Certificates of Zoning Compliance
from the Zoning Officer or the Historic Commission. In general,
the Zoning Board of Adjustment meetings are held on the third
Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room of
City Hall (ground floor).
