Sat. June 1 – Where the Wild Things Are
Celebrate the writing of Maurice Sendak and discover many wild things as we roar, gnash, roll and sail off into this wacky adventure!

Sat. July 20 – The Magic Hat
Discover the rhyme, rhythm & magic of books as we follow the bouncing hat created by Mem Fox that “makes all the magic wherever it sat.”

Sat. August 17 – Listen to the Rain!
Stormy storms and windy weather! Explore the beauty and mystery of the sounds of rain using found objects and percussion instruments. Join us as we bring storms to life with the words of
Bill Martin, Jr. and John Archambault.

Sat. October 5 – Alice in Wonderland: 1:30-3pm
This event begins at Shipyard Park and ends at Maxwell Park.
The Red Queen requests the pleasure of your company as she searches for tarts and plays croquet! Come follow Alice, the White Rabbit and other characters from the Lewis Carroll classics. We’ll search for “six impossible things” and end our journey by meeting a Jabberwocky! Rain or Shine!
