Join your favorite storybook characters and become an integral part of the story as we sing, dance, whistle, and hum through the magical world of books in these FREE interactive journeys.

The Enchanted Kingdom
Journey to a place where dragons roam free and knights protect the kingdom! Become a King, a Queen, a Wizard, a Knight or any other character you might want to be.
There will be song, jousting and much merry-making as we journey through lands near and far and create the magic that makes the kingdom enchanted.


Sat. July 8

So You Want to Be a Pirate!
Shiver me timbers, ye scurvy dog!
Join us on our latest swashbuckling adventure as we become 
pirates searching for treasure! We will “walk the plank” and
sing sea shanties as we pirate folklore in a book about pirates!


Tempest Productions is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) theatre company established in 1996.   The company is dedicated to presenting high quality productions that deal with classical and universal themes at affordable prices.  Tempest has been producing and designing youth programs since 1996.  Its founders and artistic personnel have been working in the field for over 50 years.


This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, administered by the Hudson County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, Thomas A. DeGise, County Executive, and the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
